from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Jakarta, Sept. 25 (ANTARA) - A mild earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted Nabire, Papua Province, on Friday at 2.10 am Western Indonesian Standard Time (WIB).
The temblor's epicenter was located at 3.08 degrees southern latitude, and 135.3 degrees eastern longitude, about 33 km northwest of Nabire, at a depth of 20 km below sea level, according to information from the meteorology and geophysics office.
The earthquake could be felt at the third level of Modified Mercalli Intensity (MMI) in Nabire.
