England-based Botswana squash player, Alister Walker has made headlines at the PSA Tour Platinum Series in Cairo, Egypt after reaching the semi-finals of the event, which ended yesterday.

On his way to the semis, Walker shocked the squash fraternity after defeating three-time world champion, Amr Shabanawith.

He bowed out in the last four after losing 11-8, 11-2, 11-6 in 40 minutes to Karim Darwish. Walker has a Motswana mother and English father. He is currently ranked number 12 in the world.
