SENATE PRESIDENT PRO TEMPORE JINGGOY Estrada yesterday said he was praised by his father, former President Joseph Erap Estrada, after he delivered a privilege speech defending him against criminal allegations hurled by Sen. Panfilo Lacson the past two weeks.
Saying his father told him he had never been more proud of him, the senator added that he felt he had done what was expected of a son.
I felt fulfilled that I was able to defend the honor of my father, said the younger Estrada. He said that Lacsons latest round of accusations against his father had drawn him even closer to the elder Estrada.
