The Lenox Inn at 3387 Lenox Road N.E. in Buckhead is now the Sheraton Four Points Atlanta Buckhead. The name has changed, but ownership remains the same.

Starwood Lodging Trust, a real estate investment trust (REIT) of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, purchased the 180-room Lenox Inn for $9 million in 1995. Starwood recently bought ITT Sheraton Corp. and Westin Hotels & Resorts and plans to convert many of its independent hotels into its full-service hotel brands - Sheraton, Sheraton Four Points, Westin, W and St. Regis.

A renovation of the Lenox Inn likely will follow.

"In every conversion, there are usually going to be some upgrades to meet that standard," said Debi Ford, a spokesperson for Starwood. Ford said it is too soon to say what the renovations will entail or …
