Chris Webber's endorsement potential could be nil, thanks to his trade to the low-visibility Sacramento Kings.

Coming on the heels of his legal troubles, Webber could find it difficult to land lucrative sponsorship deals in a small market.

Tom George, senior vice president of athlete marketing for Advantage International in McLean, Va., said some in the industry see the trade from the Washington Wizards as Webber's "exile to Sacramento."

Or then again, the newest King - who had yet to report to his new team as of Wednesday - could be enough of a superstar name to continue to be marketable.

Opinions of sports agents and others in the industry vary. An assistant to Webber's agent, Fallasha Erwin of Detroit, said Erwin was too busy this week to comment.
