The county council's trading standards team will give advice on beating the credit crunch at events in Notts this week.
National Consumer Week starts today and runs until Sunday with a theme of "know your consumer rights".
Sessions will be offered with advice on buying on credit, returning products, cancelling orders and using a guarantee.
They will be held at: Breast Cancer Support Group, East Bridgford on Tuesday at 7.45pm.
