Section: General News - The United Nations dismissed a news report on Tuesday that it planned to establish an office in a southern province of Thailand, The Nation reports.

The UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) confirmed a report that it sent its internal security mission to the southern region between September 7 and 11.
