Sep. 14--MIAMI-DADE COUNTY -- The Florida Turnpike in Miami-Dade County is closed because of an overturned gasoline tanker truck, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The accident happened about 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the turnpike at Mile Marker 35, just north of Okeechobee Rd. FHP says the tanker overturned after crashing with another vehicle. Only minor injuries were reported. According to FHP, fuel is reportedly leaking from the tanker which has a capacity of 9,000 gallons but no fire has been reported.
