LEMONT, Ill. _ Steve Stricker felt a little like the starting pitcher who throws a no-hitter and then goes back out to the mound on three days' rest.
He barely had enough time to come down from the clouds.
"It was a quick turnaround," said Stricker, who won the Deutsche Bank Championship on Monday. "All of a sudden we're on the tee today and it felt like we just finished."
Perhaps not surprisingly, Stricker, the new FedEx Cup points leader from Madison, Wis., got off to a slow start Thursday at the BMW Championship, the third of four PGA Tour playoff events.
