'Jackets spike Macalester: UWS improves to 5-2 with 3-0 win.

Sep. 9--The University of Wisconsin-Superior volleyball team is now 5-2 after hosting its first home match of the season against Macalester College Tuesday night.

After a lapse in the second set, in which the Yellowjackets trailed by as many as four points, UWS pulled off the win and breezed through the third set to win the match 3-0.

Lynne Deadrick, head coach of the Yellowjackets said she always tells her girls to "hit with a purpose." Against Macalester, she felt the UWS players lived up to that challenge.
