Legislators Want Kampala Town Clerk to Explain Sale of Road.

Parliament has summoned the Town Clerk of Kampala City Council, Ruth Kijjambu to explain allegations that she, together with the Mayor of Kampala, Nasser Ntege Sebaggala personally sold off a 50 meter stretch of road in Kampala at shs210 million.

The Parliamentary Local Governments Accounts committee wants Ms Kijjambu to explain alleged reports that the prime land, including part of Muwafu road that connects Lourdel and Yusuf Lule roads, was sold off to city businessman, Retired Colonel John Mugyenyi under Manjon Enterprises in 2007.
