Boeing, U.K. University Partner With Danish Counterparts For Manufacturing Research.

The U.K.University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) With Boeing [GA] Sept. 1 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with several leading Danish firms and institutions to explore the development of a branch AMRC in Denmark--the Danish Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (DAMRC).

The project--offered by the AMRC in support of Boeing's industrial commitment to Denmark--would bring together industry, government and academic institutions to create a Danish center of excellence for the development of advanced manufacturing methods needed in key growth industries such as energy and aerospace.
