We Are Ready to Apologise to Mengo, Says UPC.

The Uganda People's Congress is ready to apologise to Buganda Kingdom, establish truth and justice and end the long-standing conflict between the two entities, the party president has said.
Ms Miria Obote told journalists in Kampala yesterday that the UPC was ready to apologise and reconcile if Mengo officials accepted the olive branch.
"We are willing to talk to the Mengo government if they are as well willing to talk to us," Ms Obote said. "For the sake of Uganda, UPC is ready to reconcile with Buganda Kingdom without any preconditions."
