Sep. 2--Superior is going back to the drawing board to build a replacement for the well used Arrowhead Pier.

The City Council on Tuesday approved restructuring its bid in hopes of getting a better price when the pier is replaced and the boat launch is moved.

The goal is to get a price that meets the city's budget.

In July, three bids for the project came in significantly higher than the city's budget for the project. After two months of negotiations and modifications in the project, the cost remains outside of the city's reach.
