A Parliamentary committee has questioned the expenditure of $5 million (about Shs10 billion) on the purchase of a communication gadget, meant to enhance security during the Chogm summit.

In an August 20, letter to the Public Accounts Committee, the MP's on the ICT Committee called for an investigation into the alleged abuse of the money used to purchase the Terrestrial Trunk Radio (TETRA) communication system.
