The Brunei Grand Sale (BGS) and Ramadhan 2009 kicked off with some attractive promotions and prizes to be won during the eight-day event and last night also saw the unique 'mee goreng' eating competition's preliminary session.

Two winners have booked their seats in the finals after finishing three packs of mee goreng and one cup of 'teh tarik'. Some 15 participants took part in each session.
