SCOTLAND'S fastest growing music festival, which took over part of the Aberdeenshire countryside at the weekend, was hailed a triumph last night despite getting off to a wet and blustery start.
Organisers of the Wizard Festival, held at New Deer, said this year's show was the biggest and best yet.
Around 5,000 people descended on rural Buchan to watch more than 60 live acts across four stages over two days.
Music fans were undeterred by high winds and rain which hit the festival site early on Friday.
