Local company slapped with fine for income tax offence.

A company was fined B$1,500 by the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court yesterday after pleading guilty to one count of offence under the Income Tax Act (Cap 35).

In the event that the company fails to settle the fine within four weeks from the date of sentencing, the property of the said company will be seized and sold in order to settle the fine.
