SHARE prices on Bursa Malaysia moved counter-trend to the regional stock markets yesterday. Declining counters outpaced advancing counters by 363 to 292.

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Composite Index (FBM KLCI) rebounded from its intra-day low of 1,169.80 points to close at intra-day high of 1,176.90 yesterday, giving a day-on-day gain of 4.34 points, or 0.37 per cent. Measat Global Bhd staged a technical rebound yesterday. Its daily price trend closed at RM1.91, posting a day-on-day gain of 16 sen, or 9.14 per cent.
