Workers to Recall NSSF Board Over URA Deal.

Workers have vowed to recall their representatives on the National Social Security Fund board if they endorse a $10.3 million (Shs23b) loan to Uganda Revenue Authority.

National Organisation of Trade Unions (NOTU) Secretary General Peter Werikhe said workers are following developments keenly with a view of taking disciplinary action against their representatives if the loan is approved.

"We have a lot of interest in this issue. The money they propose to give out is for workers, which requires us to ensure that it's well protected," Mr Werikhe said. He said they are not against investments, but workers money must be invested in something …
