AHOST of medallists from the IAAF World Championships will be descending on the North East for the Aviva British Grand Prix, held at Gateshead International Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31.
It will be the final event of the UKA outdoor athletic season. Headlining the event will be heptathlete Jessica Ennis, the new darling of British athletics following her gold medal performance in Berlin. Ennis will make her first-ever appearance at Gateshead International Stadium, where she will run the 100m hurdles.
