Last year, an OCLC report, "From Awareness to Funding: A Study of Library Support in America," suggested that a major advocacy campaign targeted at certain segments of the voting public could drive new sponsorship. Now OCLC has launched "Geek the Library" (geekthelibrary.org), a campaign aimed to raise awareness of the value of public libraries.
