Section: General News -The Australian Government is providing about P123 million for three new climate change projects to include the enhancement of the National Action Plan on Climate Change, Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Rod Smith announced.

Smith also witnessed today the signing of Australia's Aid Program Initiatives on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) among representatives of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), National Mapping and Resources Information Authority (NAMRIA), Oxfam GB and Geoscience Australia.

Australia supports the Philippine Government's efforts in disaster risk reduction. …
