Section: General News - On 13 August 2009, at 08.30 am, Mr. Anand Sharma, the Minister of Commerce and Industry of India, called on Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva at the Ivory Room in the Thai Khu Fah building at the Government House.

Minister Sharma thanked the Prime Minister on this visit and confirmed the signing of the ASEAN-Indian free trade agreement during the 41st ASEAN Economic Ministers meeting (AEM) which will work to strengthen the trade relationship.

The Prime Minister welcomed Minister Sharma and his delegation, as well as congratulated Minister Sharma on his position as the Minister of Commerce and Industry of India. Both sides exchanged opinions on …
