HE HAS been chauffeured around in a BMW -- but this month Aberdeen's Lord Provost could be sitting in a Jag.
The city council is gearing up to lease a British-built limousine for its next civic car.
Lord Provost Peter Stephen could be driven around in a new Jaguar, if councillors agree on Wednesday.
Aberdeen City Council's lease on the current car, a 4-litre BMW, expires this month.
The authority is said to be considering signing a four-year contract for a 2.7-litre Jaguar XJ Sovereign.
The car would cost the council GBP750 a month -- less than the current GBP853. …
