Section: Government and Politlics - Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has warned red shirt demonstrators to avoid creating trouble when they converge on August 17 to seek a royal pardon for former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, the Bangkok Post reports.

Thousands of red shirts will gather this morning before marching from Thammasat University to the Office of His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary inside the Grand Palace.
