from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Jakarta, Aug 14 (ANTARA) - The House of Representatives (DPR) has made every effort to guard political reform in the past five years, House Speaker Agung Laksono said at Parliament building here on Friday.

He said political reform is inseparable from legal, social, and economic reforms.

"Everything can run well because the House has made every effort to guard it," Laksono said, adding that the DPR for the 2004-2009 period did its best on the basis of 1945 Constitution which has undergone four revisions after the reform period in 1998.
