[Report by Violet Gonda: "Mahlangu Trial Postponed and Judge Dismisses Bennett Application"]

The trial of MDC [Movement for Democratic Change] official Thamsanqa Mahlangu, who is facing allegations of stealing a cell phone from war veteran Joseph Chinotimba, was on Wednesday postponed to August 26th after the State said it needed more time to prepare and to give the defence team the relevant papers from witnesses. The Minister of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment is facing charges of theft, together with his Personal Assistant Malven Chadamoyo.
