Joey King, a second-year machine tool technology student at Calhoun Community College in Alabama, won the gold medal in the CNC milling competition at the SkillsUSA Championships. King is a third generation machining student at Calhoun. Both his father and great uncle were enrolled in Calhoun's program a number of years ago. His win is Calhoun's first ever in machining at the national level.. For his win, King receives a tool allocation certificate from MSC Tools and a $750 gift certificate for clothing. The …
