Arts and culture deputy is fifth official to be suspended this month Chief Reporter DEPARTMENT of Arts and Culture's acting deputy director-general Tale Motsepe was suspended this week, bringing to five the number of senior national officials placed on leave this month pending investigation. The suspensions come as President Jacob Zuma's administration vows to clamp down on corruption and mismanagement. The department would not elaborate yesterday on why Motsepe had been suspended, saying only that it was related to a conflict of interest.
