Two pending leases at old IBM campus take up 140,000 square feet

Two pending deals at Boca Raton's Blue Lake Corporate Center are ready to push leasing at the former IBM campus right up against the 50 percent mark.

Completing both deals will bring the total leased space in the 1.8 million-square-foot complex to 894,654 square feet.

Applied Card Systems, which moved into the complex in July, is close to signing a deal for an additional 100,000 square feet of space, company officials confirmed this week.

The move would double the size of Applied's facility to more than 200,000 square feet and add 1,000 new jobs to its payroll, officials said.
