Real Software Inc. last week unveiled REALbasic, its Basic programming tool for the Mac, as a free public beta on its Web site.
The environment, due to ship by early summer for $99, is based on an object-oriented version of Basic and can create 680x0 and PowerPC Mac applications and Java applets.
