Robert Humpston, Nottingham, 2nd Btn Rifle Brigade, April 22 1855 Sevastopol, Crimea.

William Raynor, Plumtree, Bengal Veteran Establishment, Indian Army May 11 1857 in the Siege of Delhi, India. Aged 61, he is believed to be oldest recipient of the VC.

Samuel Morley, Radcliffe-on-Trent, 2nd Btn Military Train, April 15 1858, Azimgurh, Indian Mutiny.
