Champions Mathare United bagged their third consecutive win in the second leg of the Kenyan Premier League with a 2-0 win over hosts Nairobi City Stars to climb to fourth in the log.

Being a Nairobi derby, Mathare United versus City Stars is always a big game; However, yesterday it was even more important. City Stars' current poor form, especially at home, meant United were the clear favourites.

The nervousness of the fans could be felt but the usual electrifying atmosphere was produced as the home team, City Stars, attempted all they could to match their opponents.
