MIDNAPORE, 30 JULY: The industrial environment in Kharagpur will undergo a further change when the Rashmi Group of Industries ambitious 2-million-tonne integrated steel plant along with a ferro alloy plant go into full production around 2012.

The company has already completed phase I of the project and reached a production of 0.5 million tonne of steel and steel products, Mr S Biswas, general manager (Commercial) of the company, told a Press conference here recently.
