from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency PENANG, July 29 (Bernama) -- The medical officer at the Penang Hospital who was alleged to have assaulted a reporter on Monday had admitted his mistakes and apologised to the victim.

This was conveyed by the hospital to the State Health, Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee Chairman Phee Boon Pooh at a dialogue with the media here today.

Phee, who chaired the dialogue, said the medical officer concerned sincerely apologised for his action.
