CHAMPIONS Selangor ended their Super League campaign in style with a 5-1 whipping of Pahang at the Shah Alam Stadium yesterday as Safee Sali and Amri Yahyah bagged a brace each.
Defeat left Pahang in the bottom two and theoretically relegated for the first time in history but they could yet earn a reprieve through a proposed revamp of the Malaysian league.
Selangor also set a Super League record for points (63) and goals scored (64) with their points tally, only two short of the all-time top-flight record of 65 set by Pahang in 1995.
