Mumbai, 24 July: A policeman, who survived the 26/11 terror attack here in India's financial capital, Friday nailed accused Ajmal Kasab's confession as a lie by telling the court that he and three senior police officers had returned fire after terrorists fired at them.
Kasab, in his guilt plea, had stated on 20 July that he had not fired first at police officers Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar and Ashok Kamate who were killed in the gun battle. He had implicated his teammate Abu Ismail for firing at cops.
