Dispensing practices have long been at the forefront of advances in technology. This is mainly driven by the need to ensure safe, profitable dispensing as most dispensing practices still rely heavily on their dispensing income to cross-subsidise the other services they provide.
Minimising risks in dispensing has led to the development of barcode recognition software to ensure the correct product is matched with the correct label.
