Doha Al-Jazeera Satellite Channel Television in Arabic at 1830 gmt on 17 July carries a new live 25-minute episode of its "Behind the News" political discussion show, presented by Luna al-Shibl in the Doha studio. The guests on the programme are: Amir Musawi, an expert in Iranian strategic affairs, via satellite from Tehran; and Dr Mustafa al-Labbad, director of the Orient Centre for Regional and Strategic Studies, via satellite from Cairo.

Al-Shibl begins by saying: "In this episode, we will discuss the direction that developments in the Iranian internal crisis will take one month after its commencement in light of the new wave of protests and the stand of Hashimi Rafsanjani, the Iranian regime's second-in-command, which he expressed in today's Friday sermon - his first sermon since the announcement of the election results."
