Section: General News - Government forces seized a camp of the New People's Army (NPA) in Sultan Kudarat, another accomplishment in the ongoing military campaign to defeat the communist insurgent group on or before President Arroyo finishes her term next year.

Troops from the 27th Infantry Battalion (IB) led by Lt. Dante Jimenez overrun the encampment of Guerilla Front 76, Far South Mindanao Region (FSMR) in Sitio Lahak, Barangay Sinapulan, Columbio, Sultan Kudarat on Saturday morning and recovered high-powered firearms.
