Francistown mayor, Buti Billy has encouraged voters to cast their ballot for women in the October general elections. He told a workshop that three months before the general elections, there is a feeling that very little has been accomplished to help advance women's cause.

He said that at this stage, it is advisable to encourage voters to support women who have won primary elections. He told stakeholders to lobby the government to review the electoral system to increase the number of women in decision-making and power.
