While a soccer match in Italy is being broadcast to Brazil, ESPN color analyst Jose Werneck explains the on-field happenings to his countrymen from the booth in ... Bristol, Conn.?

"It's a different kind of analysis," says Werneck of the practice used by the network to broadcast some of their international sporting events to his native country. "When I'm at the stadium, I have a better overview of the formations, the general tactical moves. But with television you can replace that by describing more detail."

Any adaptations ESPN Intl.'s jack-of-all-sports needed to make were done quite easily - he's been adjusting to new situations for much of his professional career.
