Ottawa, July 14 (CTK) - Foreign agencies today mainly pay attention to the problem of whether refugee claims in Canada raised by Czech Romanies are substantiated, following Canada's reimposition of visa requirements for the Czech Republic on Monday over the resumed exodus of Romanies from the Czech Republic this year. The French news agency AFP writes that the measure is to stem the "explosion" of refugee claims from the Czech Republic. The biggest Canadian paper The Toronto Star quotes at its web page the Canadian voices criticising the government decision as slamming the door to those who really try to escape persecution.
