Thailand: Civil society applies Sufficiency Economy Philosophy to daily life and business operations.
Section: General News - The 10th National Economic and Social Development Plan, which places an emphasis on Sufficiency Economy, has been implemented for almost two years now. An assessment of the implementation of the plan shows that civil society has better understanding about this philosophy, advocated by His Majesty the King.
The Director of the Development Evaluation and Communication Office, National Economic and Social Development Board, Mr. Somchai Sakdavekeeisorn, said that a survey indicates that 75 percent of members of civil society have applied the Sufficiency Economy philosophy to their daily life and business operations.
