Mark Martin was one of the most surprised people when he pulled into victory lane after the LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway on June 14. After running third late in the race, Martin advanced a spot when leader Jimmie Johnson ran out of gas with two laps remaining. Sec-onds later, when Greg Biffle ran out on lap 199, Martin took the lead for the only time all day. He ran out of gas headed for the checkered flag but coasted across for his third win of the season.
