The City of San Antonio is pleased to present NLC's 2009 Congress of Cities and Exposition Mobile Workshop programs.

"These mobile workshops will highlight some of the city's most innovative projects and programs addressing urban renewal, green/open space, emergency management, human services and environmental sustainability," said Sharon De La Garza, assistant city manager and NLC host committee co-chair.

Registration for the mobile workshops will open June 19 at www.nlccongressofcities. org. That is also the last day to take advantage of early, early discount rates for the conference.

"By June 19, we will have mobile workshops, Leadership Training Institute (LTI) seminars and spouse/guest tours available for registration," said conference planners. "LTI seminars actually opened for registration on June 11. We encourage all municipal representatives to make full use of the early, early bird discount rate."

Mobile Workshop Descriptions

Full mobile workshop descriptions, including dates and times, will be available at www.nlccongressofcities.org on June 19.
