With single continuous length of optical fiber wound into 1.5 in. dia housing, Model DSP-1500 features scale factor of 0.1% and bias stability of less than 5[degrees]/h. Tethered design enables sensor to be installed separately from power and processing circuit boards. Utilizing DSP electronics, which virtually eliminate temperature-sensitive drift and rotation errors, miniature unit is suited for demanding commercial stabilization and pointing applications in land vehicles, aircraft, and vessels.
