Jun. 26--Q: The street lights along Powerline Road between Commercial Boulevard and the Interstate 95 overpass have been out since Hurricane Wilma in October 2005. This stretch of road crosses the Tri-Rail tracks and is very dark for pedestrians or people waiting at bus stops. When will the lights be restored? Pat McKeown, Fort Lauderdale A: The lights were repaired and working after Wilma when the Florida Department of Transportation coordinated repairs with a federally funded hurricane repair contract.
