Turkey ready for mediator role in Israeli-Syrian talks.

Ankara, 24 June: The Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday [24 June] that the Israeli-Syrian negotiations under mediation could resume upon the common will of the two countries.

Spokesperson of the ministry said that Turkey-mediated Israeli-Syrian talks could only resume upon the common will of the two countries.

"Turkey has conveyed [to] the two parties that it is ready (for talks)," Spokesperson Burak Ozugergin told a press conference in the capital Ankara.
